Terrible weather here today. According to the forecast there should be a rain free spell tomorrow morning. If so Tree monkey and I will go up to the Rift and remove the boulder blocking the way downwards.

Boulder now in slightly smaller pieces, it was a slow job to get it moved.    No sooner had we gained access into the lower dig, Axbridge Caver had leaved another one out of the wall and blocked the way on!!  :wall: :wall:   Diggers required next weekend?

The team and Mr Hilti are digging at the top of Axbridge Hill in the morning.   Meeting at 10am at the half way point!

An update on the top dig.    Most of the active diggers from the Axbridge showed! :o :o Razzor zip, axbridge caver, twiglet, tree monkey & Simon two very large rocks were removed from the bottom of the dig and a lot of soil and smaller rocks.

Apparently Mr Razzor zip spied a black hole!   It even had a sign in it saying Lost cave of Axbridge this way!! :o :o

Well done every one.

Adding to Tree Monkey's report the entrance was also widened to ease the removal of spoil. Mr Hilti was also very helpful moving the large rocks.

They're not short, they're just stood a long way way from the camera.

Yep - they really do look like that. I recall the first ACG meeting I went to, thinking I'd never seen so many tiny people in one room. From Dep's description in another thread, they're about the same size as him, perhaps a little taller.  ;D

Actually, Razzerip1 is normal sized.

Apologies for being sizest.

Yes Mr Hilti showed, but we were let down by his mate (mr drill) :o    But this didn't stop the big impression that we made in, making better access to the entrance. Making it a lot easier to get the rocks & spoil out.

Next time you want to show Mister Drill a lump hammer and tell him you are going to bash him if he does not work properly :o
No room for wasters on The Axbridge Digging Crew!

Biff, Bill, Mick & Paul helped Doug with a spot of digging down Stainsby's Shaft
@ the weekend.
I have not dug there since I was a teenager, a couple of years ago. ::)
