Creaky harness

My harness is creaking when prussiking. What causes this? Inspecting it shows no obvious problems with the fabric, buckles or stitching.

What make is it.I used to have a singing rock digger which had plastic lined leg loops.it was the plastic that used to creek

OK, but I?m still interested in knowing what causes it. Is it the plastic sheathing on the leg loops?

I think you can sometimes get creaking when the attachment loops slide against the D ring. You could check for that by putting some neat fabric conditioner on the inside of the loops as a lubricant.
