This photo of a curtain was taken on a filming trip into St. Cuthberts, Mendips in June 2018. Taken using an Olympus TG4 with back-lighting from an LED torch.

The photo was taken in May 2018 on a Olympus TG4, back-lighting was an LED torch, foreground lighting from a helmet. This is a corner in
The Tube
in Peak Cavern.

Two more photos by me. Both on a TG4 Olympus camera.
The first is Bridge Chamber in OFD1 taken on a mid-week trip.
The second is a friend Mike floating on an inner tube in the Green canal in Dan-Yr-Ogof

Here are three photos documenting new digs in the Yorkshire Dales: 1. Initial crawl in Perilous Pot, Leck Fell (on a dry day); 2. Excavated shaft in Pinocchio Pot, Leck Fell; 3. Descending into Black Pig Aven 4 and caver ready to ascend into Hostile Environment in the Pugwash Extensions to Long Kin West. The caver in yellow began digging in Long Kin West 50 years ago!

'We've all been there' is a photo taken on the way to a cave battling through snow 4ft deep!

I do have a higher quality version of this available.

Entry 1 of potentially 3..I titled this one 'The Aliens are Coming'. Yes... It's another photo of that beautiful phreatic tube in Peak Cavern, but I think it stands out with its alien atmosphere
. It was the result of several failed shots due to flashes not firing in sync or not firing at all. Eventually, a single flash fired and gave me a photo far better than I could have hoped for!

Something different from a while ago and a reminder that drone flights are not allowed in GB so you wont see any more.

OK three from me
A shot taken in one of the Dinas silica mines in South Wales. Here two cavers can be seen in the reflection yet only one is seen in shot.

Bit of a last minute entry! Taken this afternoon coming back out of a very dry Hurnel Moss Pot. Just been edited in the car, sorry I couldn't find the normal share button when using the Flickr app.

Talk about good timing! - just sat down to say competition now closed, yes, yes I know I said 10pm but come on folks I'm going to allow it. You have Tim.rose2 to thank - I was creating a Portland board and got distracted....
As of now, competition is closed to new entries and I will put a shortlist up erm shortly (need to contact David from Inglesport, so please bear with us)..
Thanks to everyone who entered - so many of you - really do appreciate your support
