Rhino Rift, Thursday 18th February 2010

Billy bimble with a couple of twists; firstly a new "Look!-no-harness!"[tm] suit what I have commissioned for a return to a rippy cave in Eastern Europe and secondly a no-metalwork rigging trial. Both worked splendidly. Billy is a happy boy! Shall have to return with a tame photographer so as to share the weirdness.

Also on their way are further retro mods to make life comfier, too, field trial(s) notwithstanding.

Both ideas sound interesting - could you elaborate in normal inglish?

Gaffer tape? Chewing gum? String? What perilous technique are you going to reveal?

Knots tied on the bight through the P hangers ????

suit sounds interesting. I've seen belay loops stitched into sleeping bags for big walling.  why not stitch your harness into your cordura suit. It's crazy I know... but it just might work.

`cause then when you trash your suit you've also trashed a (presumably) expensive SRT harness also???
