Froop Layne Swollet, Wednesday 17th March 2010

Twos up flyer to Froop, 11:00am-12:00pm, via Percy Veerunts' with Bru on SRT-Lite and me in me Warmbac slinkyBeebus[tm]; very cold, very deep, duck lead into Butt's Chamber and then furtled amongst the hanging deathness off the Marble Streamway cross-rift, finding lots of fresh air and exposure en route. Twiddly.

Returned, mostly running, to daylight and luncheon at the Centre of the Universe before continuing caving elsewhere in the afternoon. :-)

Yes; we intend to revisit it much more often in future - it's a massively under-rated cave, imo and well worth more investigation - there's still plenty of bits we haven't been to yet. Bouncy fun for tuppence a ton.

Showed Bru some of the lesser-visited-bits which Andy Sparrow showed me many years ago (he was one of the principle explorers, as you no doubt already know); there's plenty of scope for lots more ropey-fun in this cave.
