Description

A popular trip which is often used for SRT training.

Wet Entrance: This is found on the east side of track where the stream sinks. Clamber down to the start of a stream passage which is followed a short distance to the big pitch. The usual route, which can be followed in wetter weather, swings off into a bedding plane and down a separate drier shaft (although this gets wet lower down when water levels are high).

Dry Entrance: On the west side of track a short gully leads to a short daylight pitch. At the bottom a passage on the left 'Calcite Way' can be followed for a short distance where it ends just beyond a climb down. The main passage quickly arrives at second pitch, immediately followed by the third pitch. A short stroll arrives in the large Main Chamber.

At the far side of the Main Chamber a crawl through the old sump reaches a further pitch and choke.
