Not Craig-Y-ffynnon.  Wrong end of the Brecons.

North West Inlet, Craig Y Ffynnon?

The short bit of rope you're referring to I think may be the rope up the short scramble to the second choke.

Simon Becks  has got a great way with words, definitely worth a read.

Useful guide books

'Northern Caves 1, 2 and 3' are the classics for the Dales but both out of print and I imagine you will be rather looking at the Derbyshire Dales, which is not my stomping ground.

The CNCC have started an excellent resource on their website for the Dales

Dales Cave Descriptions

This Iain Baker book is good.  I have a copy of that you can have if you like, got my name on it and seen a few muddy fingers over the years mind.

Beneath the Mountains by David Rose and Richard Gregson is certainly worth a read when you have a few days spare.

and I think this website is probably already on your radar!

I think my dad was involeved with the Northants group but thinks it isn't going now. OK cool, I climb at pinnacle, I'll ask if they know of any caving groups that climb there, do cavers and climbers tend to go hand in hand?

Yes I'm super keen to get stuck in, I feel it calling me! Can you recommend any good guides?

Just watched the caving video  ;D

it then rolled onto a video of Vin Garbutt then random video's of some females including the PM! before Vin came on again  :doubt:

Has my laptop picked up a selection it thinks I might like or are they from the web page the first one is hung on?
