I first job was at a place where it was made . I was able to get the recipe and made some !A mixture of Phallic Anhydride and Resorcinol .Heated dry to a red sticky blob . Dissolve ,precipitate ,filter and dry . It can be used as a wool dye ,but the light fastness is terrible ,it dyes wool...
