    An informative discussion

Recently there was long thread about the BCA. I can now post possible answers to some of the questions, such as "Why is the BCA still raising membership prices when there is a significant amount still left in its coffers?"

For Sale - Warmbac Cordura oversuit M+

6 months old, has been used so comes as shown in photos. Washed after last trip ready for its new home. Hood stashed in inner pocket. Some signs of wear but no cuts or holes. Size is M+ but this has done the Warmbac shrink so closer to standard M now, I'm 169cm and it's a little tight across...

    Fenix HM70r keeps 'blinking' (advice?)

I think the cap off this is more an unofficial preventer for the parasitic drain, at least with my 60 I find it drains slightly when left for a couple days

    Fenix HM70r keeps 'blinking' (advice?)

My hm60 flashed after we'd been in a mine that I used turbo mode a lot in for about 4 hrs, couple of disco blinks then dropped a level

    Fenix HM70r keeps 'blinking' (advice?)

Have you read the manual? Doesn't it say something along the lines of light will blink to indicate low battery and revert to the next power setting down? Personally I'd be dubious of an AliExpress one and just buy a legit one from ActionStash [other suppliers are available]

Lake District Quarry - Zip line plans

Whilst I think it would be good for the mines, I kind of agree that Elterwater is bad for road access. But no worse or better that Honister. I'd begrudge paying to go though 😅 so I'm in a similar place to @mikem , will all come down to how its managed, as its Holker estates I imagine it'll be...

    Wellies / rain boots advice

I bought a pair of neoprene welly liners off amazon for £10 for in my actiforts. They're comfy for walking and srt and most of all my feet are toasty when worn with a pair of merino socks underneath and the boots are flooded. Bison NEW NEOPRENE WATERPROOF...

    Your Preferred Climbing Ascender...

Just to throw into the mix, I'm using the Fixe Dome as a chest ascender with a basic up top, seems to do the job but a bit of a pig to get off the rope at the top of a pitch

    Petzl Croll S issue

Not the croll, but a petzl moan, had a sticky freino after maybe 5 trips, emailed petzl and they said whilst it can be used for caving, i should read all documentation to be aware of its limitations. I had only used it in wet caves and two mines, it hadn't been caked in anything any of its...
