    Squeeze practice

I'd echo what was said above about Churns/November Hole and just explore all the little passages. Similarly, Wretched Rabbit, head down to Stop Pot and out via Depot 1.5 (is that right, top of head thinking, has Flashbang Crawl). Also near the climbs (on right going down) is a low (bedding?)...

    Your opinion is needed!

History of caving in the Dales

There's two for 1884 and one 1891- these are what Ged Dodd found/documented. May 3rd 1884. Craven Herald reported ... A new cave for Ingleton. A party of enterprising gentlemen last week commenced to explore what has long been supposed to be a fine cave, but has never before been explored, and...

History of caving in the Dales

There is mention in The Craven Herald of the small and limited caves of Storrs Common being dug/opened for tourists in 1884 and 1891. Not technically the sport that we know, still digging though! Does anyone know what year the Balderston - Ingleton book was produced? That features descriptions...

I didn't think it would last long but that was incredibly quick! Over to you.

    Wezzit?

Ah, it was a long time ago but it looked vaguely familiar given the helpful "in Peak" clue. Apologies for the delay, completely forgot to check back! Not taken any photos for ages, so I've uploaded one of me descending somewhere a fair number of years back, taken by Dan J.

    Wezzit?

The passage that leads to Moss Chamber?

    Cave conservation questions

Gunnerfleet is just beyond the viaduct, probably not quite a mile from the road. In the same area, which you may be confusing with, is Greensett Cave, which is a long trek up the hill.
