Help! (Scurion charger needed for trip to Mendip)

I'm travelling down to Mendip this weekend from Yorkshire and have realised mid drive I've left my scurion charger at home! Do any knowledgeable/local folk know of where I could purchase another or even have one I could possibly rent or borrow at short notice? Thanks, Matt

    Sa fosca canyon

Bit of a long shot but a group of us managed to loose/leave a bag of rope towards the last few pitches of sa fosca canyon on Sunday afternoon. Retraced our steps as far as the previous pitch but were obviously unable to ascend. The bag is a Aventure Verticale watergrille with a 30m ish length...

    What's in your tackle bag?

I can't see the problem of a large bore cannula or two. As long as the user is experienced to identify and competent to perform the procedure. Certainly on exped they would be invaluable and as mentioned, early iv access is crucial to help avoid potential future complications.

    Aygill Caverns - Cascades rope

Hello, as per roughly half three this afternoon there is no descent rope on the "third" or cascade pitch in Aygill. During a trip today it was discovered that there was wear to the sheath midway down the first pitch just before the rebelay. Upon ascending, by the final few this wear had turned...

    water levels

Afternoon, I'm heading down to the swcc hut early Friday afternoon for the weekend. Checking the met office there's periods of rain, some heavy over the next few days. Just wondered how water levels were at the moment. Was probably just going to do a trip or two into ofd. Nothing to strenuous...

Cheers fella's, I hadn't heard of the Mucky Ducks although the Buttered Badgers does ring a very faint bell from somewhere! I'll look them up too. ah147 - What you say about non meet list trips is what I was trying to find out originally (I think my first post wasn't worded that well) I was...

Cheers guys, much obliged. Paul - I have had an email from Boyd Potts, but I believe he's still away on exped. Hopefully hear something back when he returns. Nigel N - That's good to hear, I've sent an email to Crewe as well now. Are you associated with either? Matt

    Crewe/Orpheus/Dafar members...

I had thought of them, they're both just a bit further away. I've been in correspondence with the Orpheus and I think Crewe meet in a Stoke pub once a month. Saying that, getting down to the Mendip is much closer as well now. So many choices! I'm independent, no need for public transport, just...
