If you decide to explore the cave, just watch out for the sh*t. It's sometimes used as a toilet by day trippers.

More bad news for BCA modernisers

By that do you mean it's fitting for the 21st century? It makes the old BCA website seem pre-historic.

    ?Bargain? Carabiners

It's better than the krabs we used to use when I started caving and climbing. I'd have no issue using these. As for longevity, all krabs will have a 'relatively' short lifespan if you get the caked in mud all the time, especially if your not very good at cleaning and drying them after every trip.

Thoughts on the BCA AGM proposals

As I see it, we're NOT united. What government agency is going to pay attention to a national body that cannot agree amongst itself?

Thoughts on the BCA AGM proposals

If the CSCC never wanted to be associated with the BCA in the first place as Darren suggests, why doesn't the BCA give them what they want and tell them to politely go away, do their own thing and sort their own insurance and funding. Closing date for AGM proposals is now August, so there's...

Should BCA push ahead with a test case for CRoW access?

Do they not have a valid reason for opposing this?

Should BCA push ahead with a test case for CRoW access?

Would the 5 'No' voters care to offer their reasoning as to why they are against this? I'm genuinely interested in the other side of the argument.

Hillocks, holes in floor below bottle passage

We had a trip down Wharf Climbing Shaft the other night and a bit of an explore off the normal 'tourist route'. I'd say that Wharf Mine has oodles of dig potential. We had a look at the holes that Alistair referred to. They've got to be worth digging. If only I had the time and motivation.

    Peak / Titan & JH - Covid 19

May I politely ask if the this is the wish of the landowner/Rowter Farm whose land JH is on? Do Peak/Speedwell actually own JH?

Surely, any council member who does not support this is acting against BCA Policy, and therefore should be thrown off of the council.

    Clatterway Level

Thanks for all the info guys. Historytrog's map proves that Clatterway and Ball Eye are nowhere near each other. It's interesting that neither Historytrog's or Lampwick's maps show the upper entrance to Clatterway behind the cottages just off the footpath.

    Clatterway Level

We had a trip down Clatterway Level at Bonsall the other night and did a fair bit of exploring. But there were still plenty of passages that we didn't get time to explore fully. I was wondering if there is any sort of survey available. It would help make sense of a quiet complex and confusing...
