JH is on land owned by Rowter Farm and isn't owned as such by the peak speedwell system. Given the current circumstances they have been advised to restrict access to JH as the cave itself is part of the peak speedwell system. As has been publicised there is no access to either peak or speedwell...

Yes, that's exactly it. If you're serious about doing this I'd pay heed to not disturbing the BP's too much. All that's actually needed is effectively a flood overflow (for when the dams get beaten by the input) to drain down into Speedwell as opposed to backing up and overflowing into FSE...
