Has Anyone ever lost a welly?

Also, on our Berger trip in 2016, one of the team lost their welly near the canals - But I can't remember if it was retrieved or not, and I can't remember who it was either :ROFLMAO:

Has Anyone ever lost a welly?

After car troubles in France, I ended up in Matienzo with very minimal kit one year. I raided the tackle store for old abandonded kit, and in doing so found myself some Size 10 wellies... They'll do, I thought. So donned my super absorbant cotton socks, a borrowed wetsuit and boiler suit, and...

    Caving Illnesses

I second this! I suffer with hayfever type symptoms all year round, and quite enjoy things clearing up whilst underground!

    Derbyshire sport trips tier list

I agree more with your rankings here. But, I think Crusader series should swap with Water Icicle and Speedwell with Bagshawe... IMO :-)

    Carrot Passage, West Kingsdale

Derbyshire CC seemed to have a lengthy involvement with that area during the late 80's / early 90's. Before my time, but there's a lot of reference in old newsletters etc. I'm not entirely sure as to what they were actually doing in there, and where though - Sorry.

    Scapula Dig

Survey kit is usually known to hinder progress. Best left at home :dig:

    County Pot - 25/11/23

They should be. Nobody has contacted me to say they've been de-rigged and it's only been a week. Both pitches are rigged (2x 15m) but we didn't leave a bag. Have a good trip! Tom

    County Pot - 25/11/23

Not technically lost, but left behind due to poor planning. County Pot, this weekend has been left rigged. We were doing the County > Lancaster and rigged the 2x County pitches. The rigging wasn't pulled through due to an uncertainty of route finding ( I forgot that we didn't need kit to come...

BCA going greener (by sending out less green......)

It's very rare that I have ever needed to show my green card, and most of the time, if a trip requests BCA insurance the membership number will usually suffice. Like most others mine stays at home and in a drawer with the others. The only issue with providing just the membership number is that...

    CSG website(?)

Interesting. Thanks for checking. Might just be me then. Yes, I can't get many of the links working and the captcha that popped up looked far too modern compared to the actual page. Tom

    CSG website(?)

Hi All, I've done some surveying in the past and know (ish) what i'm doing when it comes to surveying etc. but I thought i'd check out the Cave Surveying Group website. When Googling I hovered the top link and all seemed good, showing cavesurveying.org.uk. I clicked, and this then took me to...

    Need to contact John Wilcock

A similar email from John Wilcock was posted to the Matienzo email list yesterday. So, I suspect this is a hacked email. It was not addressed to anybody directly.
