    An informative discussion

Recently there was long thread about the BCA. I can now post possible answers to some of the questions, such as "Why is the BCA still raising membership prices when there is a significant amount still left in its coffers?"

The Derbyshire Caving Association manages a registry of cave & mine sites in our region. The listings include rigging info, entrance photos and access details where available. As things change over time, the registry is updated, so do check before heading somewhere you've not been for a while. Sites can be added if something is missing, and we're happy to receive updates, entrance photos and descriptions.

You can report any access issues to the DCA Access Officer or via a form directly through the homepage.

Eldon Quarry is shut to cavers from now until early September due to a permit for exclusive access for a filming company. Please avoid all caves in the quarry until the filming is complete. There is 24 hour security on site.
