Accommodation in France

My son Zak and a friend are planning a road trip (by motorcycle) to Barcelona from the Peak District and are looking for some accommodation to break the journey in the Limoges/Poitiers area. Budget will be strictly limited.

Has anyone got any good ideas/recommendations for cheap places they could stay?

We stayed in a Formula 1 some years ago and it was reasonably cheap. It looks like it would by 28 Euro for the night for a twin bed room so 14 Euro each:
