    An informative discussion

Recently there was long thread about the BCA. I can now post possible answers to some of the questions, such as "Why is the BCA still raising membership prices when there is a significant amount still left in its coffers?"

Does anyone know which edition of Descent the Caves of Kay Nest Crag (North York Moors) is in?
I expect Chris (Scaife) will be along with an answer shortly, if I remember rightly I think he penned the article.......

Hello. I did indeed write the articles.

Arachnophobia Cave and a couple of other small ones were in a piece called 'First caves in a new area', on p10 of Descent 231
There was a short mention of 'More Tripsdale discoveries' on p8 of issue 232
and an item called 'Xenophobia Cave extended' on p8 of Descent 242

Oh I remember those caves. I wonder if there is anything else for us to find there, Chris? This was back in the days when I drew up surveys in MS-paint, in-fact I think Xenophobia cave may be my first ever drawn survey. Xenophobia is worth a visit if you are in the area, the main chamber with a skylight above is quite impressive considering this is not a limestone cave, bloody loose though as you would expect.
