Giants to east canal.

Good trip last night with JB down to east canal in Giants.
Forgotten what a good trip it is (in fact I'd forgotton what caving was all about as opposed to digging down the same hole every trip) - so cheers JB.

Note - 'The Cascade' just below Geology pot no longer has a hand line on it anymore. There is a bit of rope that runs from the backup to the y hang with which we managed to frig something. Worth noting that you might need a bit of rope. Wether you rig it proper or just put a hand line on is up to you.

Couldn't agree more. Undoubtedly one of the best Derbyshire trips when a return is made via the Windpipe. Compares with what that northern lot have underneath their doorsteps.

When I first did it Giant's seemed like a very familiar place but once through the Eating House and on towards Geology it feels very different - a long way down.

Had though about it as my return - big back up team, loads of time, even more snap!

Mind you it could have just been a bit wet on the day that I tried it.
