    An informative discussion

Recently there was long thread about the BCA. I can now post possible answers to some of the questions, such as "Why is the BCA still raising membership prices when there is a significant amount still left in its coffers?"

Ray had been ill for quite some time, and was well into his eighties. I'm sure someone will write an obituary soon, but Ray does leave behind him a legacy that his family can be very proud of,

Sad news. I knew Ray from when I first started caving back in the early eighties. I'd like to know the funeral arrangements please as I'd like to pay my respects.

Ray's funeral service and cremation will be at the Forest of Dean Crematorium at Yew Tree Brake on Friday 21st August at 11:30am. Ray's wish was that people attending should please wear something green.
No flowers please. Donations if desired to the League of Friends of the Dilke Memorial Hospital may be placed in the donations box at the crematorium.
