Took some video last weekend from the far side of the sumps in OHA. Not all that many people have been through here, from what i'm lead to believe, these are the first images.

14 hours of muddy sporting fun:
UCET Ogof Hesp Alyn - Into The Unknown.

if you're interested, here is a video showing the first half of the cave - from the entrance to the first sump which was done on a previous trip:

sorry about the muck on the lens, the place is slightly muddy! thanks for watching!

hmmm - I now understand why Les wasn't so keen to go on the NWales trip this year... ;) still, I wanna go even more now :-) Excellent videos guys  :beer2:

You should go!, I've been to sump 1 numerous times, and it's an excellent trip!

Chris.

Once you get through the sumps it just gets better and better!

It gets muddier and muddier not "better and better"  :o :o :o

Great Video(s) though Tim although Doug usually lets out a high pitch squeal in water - he let the side down this time  ::)

;D

Thoroughly enjoyed these videos.

Nicely put together.  especially how you've shown the characters involved as well as the cave itself.

Cheers for putting it on the site for us to enjoy.

Richard.

Congratulations filming in those conditions - hope your equipment survived!  And well done to Mike K and the other NWCC members for their hard work in opening sump 1 and rigging the system.  When you know the system well 3 hours is a good time for an exit from the furthest point (end of the extension beyond the South Pantymwyn Vein - not recently accessible due to flooding and silting) (then add half an hour for the crawl up the hill to the road carrying a ton of mud).

Thanks for sharing the videos must have been very difficult filming in there. Rich g comments say it all ta.
