I am happy to inform the forum that Glebe Mines Ltd and Fluorspar UK Ltd will soon recommence production at Cavendish Mill at Stoney Middleton.
Water for processing at the mill comes from the Watergrove mine complex close by. The pump that supplies this water will be turned on today for pipeline trials.

Just out of interest, do you know if there's likely to be third-party processing, or will it just be Glebe's own stocks and new mining? I'm presuming Milldam will be re-opening, but just wondering if they'll be taking any old spar from any old bloke with a JCB and some spare time? I'm thinking along the preservation of old mine-workings angle...would hate to lose some of the good stuff...
