The Cambrian Caving Council is organising a Conference on Saturday 26th May, primarily aimed at cavers who would like to know a bit more about the inner world in which we explore. The Saturday will be a day of various talks including First aid, Cave Life, Conservation, Geology, Surveying and Cave Photography with some follow up workshops on the Sunday.

Places are limited due to the size of the venue, so if this would be of interest to you then please book via the e-mail address on the poster below.

Bookings will be taken on a first come first serve basis.

Cost will be ?5 per person.

It would be nice if I could print off the Conference Program.  Would save the organisers a lot of paper.

Don't see why you can't print it, I can.

Mind, I don't see how that saves the organisers any paper, either.

This could be seen as a blatant attempt to bring the topic onto the recent posts list and, of course, it is.

The official reason is to say that we've managed to get hold of a few more chairs so there will be room for a few more people.

If you do make a last minute decision to join us an e-mail to secretary@cambriancavingcouncil.org.uk would be appreciated.

Just a quick note to say thank you to the organisers.  A very interesting and successful meeting.  Although it was a sweltering hot day the Penderyn Community Centre was ideal, nice and cool and plenty of free drinks.  I picked up some good tips in the talk on cave photography and I like the way the lecturers brought along visual aids like cameras and surveying equipment for us to play with.
