Pub food and beer near to Croydon hut?

Organising a Lincoln Caving Club Trip to your chaps neck of the woods in a fortnights time, Couple of queries! Can anyone recommend a good boozer nearby for post cave refeshments? Nothing too fancy just a good plateful and a decent pint will do! We staying at Croydon Hut for the weekend Usually 6-8 of us on a club tri[p. Can't think what the other query was now, Damn it!!
