Who needs SRT when you can ladder like this?

I bought a nice piece of caving art from a charity shop and wondered if anyone recognised it. The signature is 'Chrissy' and it doesn't say who the caver is or what cave they are in.

So whilst keeping an eye out for adep's lost pantin, I somehow managed to lose my own! It's somewhere between the entrance and pitch head in Short Drop, probably at the bottom of a puddle somewhere. It doesn't have any markings but it's a left footer and I'd be very happy to see it again.

I found this old photo in the charity shop, of what looks like a hauling party, and wondered who they are. Surely not Martell's era, but maybe a long ago club meet?

Is there a list anywhere of which caving huts allow camping in their gardens? I'm still somewhat reticent about dorms and being huddled in a crowded hut, but sitting around outside with an evening beer before retreating to a tent is long overdue.

If anyone has done Jingling lately and dropped a small bit of kit on the surface, pm with description and I'll get it back to you.

I haven't been able to find insurance that covers me for caving and general medical cover (for caving on holiday rather than expeditions) that doesn't exclude pre-existing conditions. So far I've accepted that Snowcard covers me for everything except asthma, and relied on EHIC to fill the gap...

Out for a walk in Crummackdale today, we came across an interesting little hole at the top end of the valley. A tightish rift, which we had a peer into but didn't properly go in as we only had a pen torch between us. Looking in various books and on t'interweb, it doesn't seem to be listed anywhere.

As the title says...does your caving hut allow dogs? The reason I'm asking is that although I love our furry friends as much as the next person, I'm asthmatic and find that sharing a room with a dog for even 15 mins puts me out of action for the weekend. That's not a problem at my own club hut...
