    An informative discussion

Recently there was long thread about the BCA. I can now post possible answers to some of the questions, such as "Why is the BCA still raising membership prices when there is a significant amount still left in its coffers?"

It's local to me and is on my "to do" list but I haven't been yet so can't really help. I'm sure someone will answer sooner or later.

I suspect the description in Tony Oldham's Caves of the Forest of Dean will be more detailed than the one in Tim Stratford's Caves of South Wales. You may already know this though.

Don't bother answering. There's a new topic called Moved: Ban-y-gor Forest of Dean entrance so clearly someone doesn't want you to find it.

From the northern portal of Tidenham railway tunnel, SO548973, scramble directly down toward the riverbank. The entrance is on a raised platform about 3m above the river at high tide. It ought not take more than 20 minutes to find it from the tunnel!!
