Absolute rubbish, of course. "The dolls were always baby dolls". I managed to resist most attempts to give me dolls, but the one or two that got through were definitely not babies. And this was well before Barbie and that other one that was launched at the same time. Main thing about Barbie was that the doll wasn't important, it was merely a hook for sales of outfits and accessories, in the same way that a printer is a hook to get you purchasing HP ink. Sorry, completely off topic.
