    An informative discussion

Recently there was long thread about the BCA. I can now post possible answers to some of the questions, such as "Why is the BCA still raising membership prices when there is a significant amount still left in its coffers?"

Blakeney Hill Stone Mine - 11th March 2009

Thought I'd share a few pictures from the recent RFDCC trip to Blakeney Hill Stone Mine.

Once everyone found the entrance (lets just say there were a few 'route finding' issues), a really good hour and a half was spent exploring this small but interesting site.

The mine itself is in fairly good shape, with a few unstable areas to add to the fun. There are also a surprising amount of artifacts still lying around.

Thanks to Dan for sorting out the trip, and thanks to the club members who provided good conversation and laughs along the way.

Your pictures came out much better than mine. I'm going to have to go back another time and take some more. I was too busy wandering around to concentrate on the photography.

These two are the best of the 10 I took
