Bradford Winch meet

Just been checking the Bradford website as i'm stuck on my own and trying to find something to do this Sunday. It says that the routes will be rigged for SRT from sat 22nd May. Is it ok to turn up on Sunday and use the ropes even though the winch meet doesn't start till next weekend? I'm available to carry rope bags etc as well if any help is needed Sun morning.

You should book in with the Winch crew so they know you're in the system and confirm that the routes you're planning on using are rigged.

We normally offer a donation for use of the ropes as well.

I think the major routes are normally rigged on the Saturday.

The Bradford winch meets are great - loads of stuff rigged so a Big thanks to the Bradford. 
  I did leave a small donation but was desperate for an ice cream so could only afford to stick a quid in the tin.

There's now a board by the winch to enter details of trips into the system.

Usual details, club, numbers, route, time in and estimated time out. Once you're out remove the details from the board.

We had a good club trip yesterday - in Stream, main chamber, Mud Hall, split the party on the way out, some out Flood and some out Bar. We hit the rush hour in Stream Passage though and got stuck in a jam !

P.S. We had to donate double due to others not donating 

P.P.S Donations go to CRO anyway !

I just cant remember seeing a tin to put money in, not having to hump ropes and be able to do an exchange trip all in one party is worth a couple quid for sure.  I'll remember for the future.

the BPC winch meet is up & running.
Entrances rigged to my knowledge are; Bar, Stream, Flood, Marilyn (check spelling).
Dihedral is for BPC only, no exceptions!!
Please check with BPC control for the latest news when you arrive.

I see this is quickly becoming a GG rigging topic.  So:

Is Bar Pot is rigged with ladders?

(I'm told it has been rigged with ladders in the past to allow flooded-in main chamber visitors to escape.)

Bar Pot is NOT rigged with ladders.
If members requre ladders they are available,but must be removed after the trip.
