Caves that don't flood in South Wales

With all the rain pouring down recently and set to continue at least to the end of the month which caves can I safely go to in South Wales without worrying if it's going to flood even if it rains profusely for 24/7?

Non key/code gated would be even better.

I can't book anything as I am not sure which days I will be going.

Ogof Ffynnon Ddu. Masses to do in Top Entrance whatever the Welsh weather does. It is locked and you need a permit but the Permit Sec is very helpful, and keys are available from Penwyllt or from local SWCC members, who are also very helpful.

By far the best wet-weather option in South Wales, IMHO.

Try some of these too:
Agen Allwedd (needs key) - you can do quite a lot of the cave in wet weather
Eglwys Faen
Daren Cilau - you can do most of the cave, including the through trip to Cnwc
Pen Eryr
Ogof Draenen (needs key) the entrance series will be damp, but you can do most trips in the cave but not the short round trip
Ogof Tarddiad Rhymney
Silica Mines
Ogof Foel Fawr - Ogof Pasg

I've done the through trip exiting out of Prices Dig but not heard of Cnwc - is this a new one or another name for the Prices dig exit..?

Cheers

It's the new name for Price's Dig. I think Cnwc means something like lump, bump or a smallish hill, that kind of thing. Not sure of the reason for the rename but maybe it was felt that the place was no longer just a dig and deserved a proper name. The place has been a cave, not just a dig, for a long time though - but not connected to Daren until relatively recently.

Ogof Cnwc was Brian Price's name for it. Everyone else just called it Price's Dig or Price's Old Dig as there is also a newer one. When it finally went he asked that people used the name he originally gave it. I believe Cnwc means hill but you'd need to ask a Welsh speaker.
