If I were heading to Fermanagh for caving I'd stay at Agnahoo if a few people or if a lot I'd look to book out spots in the Cladagh Glen scout hut which is posher than my house.

I am the warden for the Aughnahoo/Aghnahoo/very much open to debate the spelling, so to cover all its also known as the Hoo. There is a facebook page for it called errr thehoocavershouse https://www.facebook.com/thehoocavershouse .
Tis the only dedicated cavers hut in Ireland and is within walking distance of the best caves in Ireland . indeed so close the caves are they are collectively known as the Garden Caves.
Last summer we had a few mobs over from England. some doing exploration digs and surveys and sporty caving.
This summer i'm contemplating some sort of music/ caving/camping festival type thing at the Hoo. Other than writing that last sentence and getting a publician to provide on site booze i havent organised anything yet. but may be some weekend in july/august
.
any questions give me a shout.
Thanks Ian for recommending Cladagh Glen. It's a fantastic venue in a beautiful location for caving, walks and BBQs. We had an amazing week in Enniskillen. I definitely want to go back there!Enniskillen in particular or Fermanagh or Cavan?

It is half way downonastir cliff but not a small opening. If you go up a bit further there is a long tall tube going down a slope to the 6m pitch. Some great trips there! Is Bruce's the one where you emerge halfway up Monastir cliff and have to somehow contort yourself in midair to go back into an adjacent opening?
Thanks Keris. It sounds like I'm remembering the right cave, but I may be confusing some details. It's all a very long time ago.
