caving clubs that take under 16 members?

are there any caving clubs out there that accept under 16s, without their parents?

if yes (as i am sure i have read on here that there are "lots"), which ones do?

i may be being very thick here, but i couldnt see your quote on the website, i read that membership is people in their twenties to beyond retirement. where abouts am i looking?

You're not being thick
The quote is from the (recently-amended) KCC constitution, the link was for contact details.
The web site statement is probably accurate - I'm not sure if we actually have any unaccompanied U16 members at present. 
However, I'm sure keen, sensible teenagers would be welcomed (after all, those characteristics would put them ahead of some of the adults )

thats good, i am glad i wasnt being as dim as i thought, for once 

and you are right, quite a few people i cave with have a mental age of between 7 and 14, myself included  we are a load of big kids who like getting muddy
