Children staying at caving club huts

Policies regarding under 18s can work both ways and are sometimes designed to protect adults staying at the huts from accusations by youngsters.

Yes very true. A good policy protects both the youngsters and the adults in as inclusive a manner as is reasonable.

Clubs that allow u18s in accommodation
NPC ? junior members must be children of full members. No mention of guest children.

The NPC's position has been clarified on their website - http://www.northernpennineclub.org.uk/booking/booking.htm

It is: The club does not usually consider that anyone under the age of 15 should stay at Greenclose. It is essential that anyone contemplating staying with children discuss this with the Booking Secretary prior to booking.
