..ignoring the usual bollocks.. Where about in Green Ore is the collapse - which road? I have looked on Somerset news sites, on the 'net, but I haven't found anything about it. The only thing is on the BBC travel site
A39 Somerset - Closed both ways between the B3135 junction and the A37 junction in Green Ore, because of roadworks. Diversion in operation.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/somerset/travel/live_travel_roads_feature.shtml but gives nothing about the cause.

Didn't the complete caves of Mendip have an entry for a collapse around Green Ore - Garage hole or something?

Meg and I didn't know about this and we took the 'quick' route home only to find the A39 closed. It seems it is only for roadworks. But are they roadworks because of a collapse? :-\

The road is now open but was closed because of the collapse. People I've spoken to think it was a lead mine but nobody really knows.
