    An informative discussion

Recently there was long thread about the BCA. I can now post possible answers to some of the questions, such as "Why is the BCA still raising membership prices when there is a significant amount still left in its coffers?"

If you are on Forestry Commission land then you need insurance and a permit. Probably your best point of contact is the FodCCAG (forest of dean cave conservation and access group) permits officer Dave Tuffley  permits@fodccag

Some info on the RFDCC website too. You might be able to do a trip down Clearwell Caves off the tourist routes if you contact them as well.
