Has been couple of yrs since my last trip in there when the rigging was off a mixture of spits and naturals and was do-able, but not great!

However, i 'believe' that it now has fixed bolts of some form.

Am sure someone who has been down there since my trip will confirm this though?

A fine trip!!  :)

Pete, what was the rigging like for Dale Head? Following an aborted trip a few years ago (due to dodgy spits) we returned last year to P-hanger it for the CNCC but found that someone had already beaten us to it (for the entrance pitch at least). The CNCC have no knowledge of this and so it can't be included in their rigging guide, and we haven't had a chance to return yet to confirm whether it has been hangered all the way to the bottom, or if just the first pitch has been done.

Doubt there CNCC, but I would take those solid looking bolts then dodgey spits any day.

Well I had no idea who "Malcolm" was did I, you never said he was CNCC? Only person I know on CNCC is Damian.

I thought you were lol, I guess you just do the bolting for them.

Damian is just one of a number of volunteers who install anchors on behalf of CNCC (and all cavers)
