Entrance near Giants any ideas?

As you drive down the track to peakshill farm to Giants through the gate and turn around the left hand bend , if you look left on the other side of the hill there is a steel door to what looks like an adit entrance
Of all the times been down never noticed it before , anyone know what mine it is or been in?

Did anyone ever try sorting out access? Just wondering

There have been attempts to discuss access with the owner during the past year but, as yet, with no result.  It's not been forgotten and DCA will keep trying but the land is owned by one person and tenanted by another so it's not easy.
