Exploring Cherry Tree hole

Exploring Cherry Tree Hole, we came to a large chamber with a huge length of rock slippage ( fault?) the length of it, dead ended and climbed up to a very slippery ledge, then down through various boulder chokes until coming to a chamber,(spiral chamber?) from this we were able to get back to above the very slippery climb.

From what we believe to be Spiral Chamber, we could find no route forward to the sump and the 27' pitch, (though we did not scour every inch, as time was drawing in).

We will be visiting again shortly and any pointers would be welcome.

We were using the 1970 CPC Survey, Thanks to the Craven for putting them on Cavemaps. (y)

I think it's through the boulders at the end of Spiral Chamber, follow the water and can't go far wrong.

What's the duck like in Far North passage, didn't get that far last time...anyone???

The duck is a low, flat out crawl with a slightly higher bit halfway through where you can briefly pause if you so desired. Nothing too bad and not too long (few metres to the higher bit then another few metres to exit IIRC), although I guess higher water levels would make it more 'interesting'.

Sounds familiar, there is one bit that always makes me stop and think about which way I need to be going. Probably the same place Ron got to.
