Anybody know anything about two holes above cliff on S side of Hawthorn Dene near Easington, Co Durham?
Not Hawthorn Dene Cave, not in NC1 1988, two blindingly obvious collapse features on R of path above bridge, one of which at least looks vaguely natural. Unable to investigate properly (or splash up the gorge either) in suit and tie for work today! Could be quarried?
