Could all those who took offence to my comment please accept my humblest apologies. Although i felt at the time like what i said was warranted, i was not taking the whole spectrum of issues relating to the running of this site in to consideration.

No apologies needed ah147. As I alluded, it's a function of a limited communication medium.

I had a comment deleted some time ago, by one of the Admin. Nothing too shocking about that. However on questioning why, I recieved a very polite message explaining the deletion. That is good. The message wasn't hectoring or treating me like a naughty child, it simply explained the reason for the deletion.

That has not always been the case. And it represents, in that case at least, an improvement.

Simon: I suspect that no-one is going to going on holiday to Barbados on the proceeds of a Forum....as I said above, it might succeed, it might fail or it might just mither on as a chat-room for a few regulars.
