Travelled up to Yorkshire to do the classic Lancaster Hole -> Wretched Rabbit traverse. There had been a fair bit of rain (80mm in the last 7 days) but it hadn't rained in the last 24 hours and the forecast for the day was dry. The three of us abseiled down Lancaster Hole and left SRT kits tied to the bottom of the rope. Headed down to Bridge Hall. We'd all been to the Colonades before so didn't bother with them and dropped down into Kath's way. Soon we were at Fall Pot. Used an in-situ handline to climb down and then carefully through boulders to reach the streamway. There was just the right amount of water in the streamway. Loads of fun and you had to be really careful to avoid having your legs swept away. Climbed up fixed ropes at Stake Pot to join the high level route. Through some great passage, huge caverns and really interesting areas of collapse - Oake's cavern, Corne's cavern, Snail cavern, Monster cavern, down the iron ladder at Stop Pot and then onto four-ways chamber and out Wretched Rabbit. Fantastic trip and the streamway was the best part. About 4 hours underground but we weren't rushing.

Went to retrieve the rope and met two parties about to abseil into Lancaster Hole. Bull Pot Farm was busy as well. Good to see plenty of people out.
