LOST: Rude Nora + Ecrin Roc - Charterhouse, Mendip

I seem to have lost my lid (red Ecrin Roc) and light (Rude Nora 1) outside Grebe Swallet / on the road near Charterhouse Centre (Mendip) on the evening of Wednesday 22nd Jan.
It says [MW] on the top and may be liberally covered in Grebe mud from a good digging trip.
If anyone finds it I'd be super grateful if they could contact me.

    nnooooo not nice, I would be mortified if I lost mine. 

Just looked were Grebe is, so many dog walkers there all the time. Have you looked in the culvert under the road to see if it has rolled in there?

Put a 'Lost lid' notice up 

Flanders & Swann 'The Armadillo' keeps coming to mind, don't know why

APPARENTLY it's been found and handed in by some kind soul to the Hunters Lodge - Mike's clearly so overjoyed at being reunited with it that he's gone caving and forgotten about telling people to call off their searches for it!

Case closed (until the next time he leaves it on the roof of a car).

Indeed It did. A flooded GB and questionable internet distracted me. I'd like to thanks cap'n, me, Lucy Greenwood and most of all the farmer who handed it in .
