Aware of this advice to use both eyes to read a Suunto compass, but also aware of the problems of parallax, I reasoned that if I could take a bearing with just one eye, there would be no parallax problem. I reasoned that if I could do it with one eye then I would, and I always have done because I can, and I have never had any problems at all doing so.
