IF it's the one I'm thinking about (Wheels Rake?), yes - AR and Dr. JG had a look the other day. I don't think it holds much promise.

Yes, it is the one  on Wheels Rake I've known about this for a few weeks as I deal with the County Council officer responsible for shaft capping. As Phil mentions, John Gunn and I went out earlier this week for a proper look, the collapse is next to a capped shaft and some packwall on the vein has given way, allowing a run-in that has choked the shaft with 6-7 cubic metres of choss. There is a backfilled level running off but that's all, so not really very interesting. I've suggested to County that they  backfill it, taking steps to prevent further material running into the shaft , as the ground where it's gone isn't solid rock but what I suspect is post-glacial grot so there 's a risk of the carriageway starting to go if it's left as is.
