Notify feature not working?

Has anyone else noticed that the "notify" feature no longer works?

I've noticed that after ages of not being notified of anything, suddenly without asking it's started to notify me of new posts in the 'friday jokes' thread.

So is it working or not?

I think the email system has a number of problems to be honest but i can look for solutions if there's some sort of pattern to who is/isn't recieving them.

I think it's probably working. I'm now getting notified of PMs which I wasn't previously.

I've just found 'notify me...' under 'additional options' (haven't used it since you changed the board since I didn't know where it was) - since I'm getting notified in some threads but not others, they may be some inconsistency in the default setting.

i've never had any notification emails from the site. not even for the registration process ?????
and yes, my email addy is correct.
doesn't help that i tried to get a new password sent to me from home last night/ luckily still logged in in work so can still post for the time being!

I never recieved my email notification....many havnt but if you keep checking the new log on will work eventually...

My email address is a .fsnet address but i know of a tesco.net that also didnt work...is this what your after bubbba to try trace why they dont work??

I have to manually activate logins that don't get their email, though some get it fine. I wish i could find a pattern to it all then maybe i could fix it.
