Petzl atex duo led5

Having some charging issues with a lamp I?ve bought.  It doesn?t seem to be charging with the one that come with it. I tried it with another one I have and I works fine but gets hot when charging. It?s not a Petzl charger but has the same peramiters on the plug. Anyone had any similar issues?
The Petzl charger just flashes orange. Does this mean it?s chargjng.

If it only has red lights (like mine), then constant light is charging, flashing is charged.
If it has green and orange lights, then I've  a note (attached) saying its

Constant Green = Charged
flashing Orange = Charging
Fast flash orange = Error (remove battery switch off charger then try again).

This looks like the one I have though with a UK plug adaptor

This is from the instructions for the Atex 5

Main charger: E65200 2
A green light is lit when the battery is charging.
Time for complete recharge:2h20,
The green light flashes when charging is complete.

One consideration is that a 2700mAh cell such as the Accu, when charged from flat to full, the charger outputing 850mAh suggests a 3.5 hour charge time as the manual suggests.  If your cell is not taking 3.5 hours to charge then I would expect capacity to be reduced, 50% charge time from flat (under 2 hours) 50% capacity on a rough scale so your run time will follow suit.

A flat battery charged at that power will probably get hot, the power supply and the cell.
