At the risk of stating the obvious, have you Googled:
Jamaica Caves 1967
?
I seem to remember going to a talk at Bristol Univ on this subject in 1968.
and of course, there is a book:
JAMAICA UNDERGROUND / The Caves, Sinkholes and Underground Rivers of the Island by Alan G Fincham 1997 [March 1998] 2nd ed 447 pp 45 plates including 24 colour photos 300 line drawings. This first edition, published in 1977 was little more than a computer print out, lacking lower case! This is a state of the art guidebook with all the usual grid refs, alt, length, depth, description and in many cases a survey. There are also chapters on: Cave exploration and speleology in Jamaica; recollections of the Jamaica Caving Club; early cave investigations in Jamaica by Trevor Shaw; geomorplogy, hydrology, vertebrate paleontology, biospeleology; histoplasmosis; etc. Nicely indexed and cross referenced this is an essential book for any caving library SB
usually available on fleabay.
