PVC suits Warmbac vs Landjoff

I guess not many people will have had the chance to use both, but my AV Titan is looking a little threadbare and I fancy a second over suit so makes sense to go bright yellow for those damper days.

Price seems pretty similar. Landjoff has internal suspenders for what that's worth and an extra pocket. You can get them in custom sizes.

Warmbac has neoprene sleeves which seem a good idea although I don't know if if they could make them a bit sweaty before you get wet.

It's not really possible to see them side by side....Which would you buy?

Lanjoff.

I have a Warmbac and I dont think they are bad, but the seam across the back breaks pretty easily.  Are the landjoff stitched or welded?

I bought a repair kit for the Landjoff so I could see what the fabric is like, it seems more supple than the Warmbac.

Happy with the Warmbac PVC suit; you can make the seams more hard-wearing and hence longer-lasting by running aquasure along them.

Hi

I have tried both.  The Landjoff suits are very comfortable but the two I have had only last about 3 months.  Generally the seems split and the waterproofing disappears after the first one or two trips.  I've had a Warmbac PVC suit for about 2 years and it is still going strong.  I don't use it very often as it is a bit too warm but is great for drafty wet caves.

However my "go to" suit is my AV.  These tend to last me about 12 months.

Was the Landjoff PVC?  I can't see how PVC would loose its waterproofing, other than by holes in the material.  [unlike Cordorua etc which is a coated fabric which certainly wears off]

The Bulgarian suit is OK for light caving ( I dont like the braces ) but for harder use the Warmbac will win every time. I just wish Warmbac would have a size that fits me. Large fits everywhere except the chest. Anything bigger and the legs are too long. I did point out that the Warmbac sleeves wore quicker than the rest of the suit when I was at the factory. I think they have changed the seams to sort that now.
