Quick question for anyone who knows / lives at Chorley

Please can anyone give me a rough idea how long it'd take to walk from Chorley railway station to the hospital? (This influences which train to catch.)

I'm presuming it's best to walk northwards along the A6 then go left along Euxton Lane.

Thanks.

It's only about a mile, I believe, so won't take you long . . . unless you're hopping along on crutches?
Or the bus station is just across the road from the train station, and there should be plenty of buses going up the A6

(Not sure why I'm answering this question, as I've never knowingly been to Chorley in my life :ROFLMAO: )

Nay - legs are fine. It's just a minor hand problem.
Useful to know about the bus station being so near though, thanks.

I find Traveline good for this type of multi mode journey planning

I also use Bing maps a lot as it has journey planning but with useful addition of OS 1:25000 and 1:50000 overlays

Thanks Ian - noted. Looks useful. Another forum member has also kindly given me useful intil on the bus numbers which go from town centre to the destination.

Isn't this forum brilliant?!
