Reading to yorks next weekend? (24th/25th)

hey hey,

Hoping to cave in yorks next weekend (24th/25th), maybe king pot and penygent pot? Trouble is i dont have a car and live in reading (long way from the dales!)

Anyone fancy coming along? (kinda need a car though!)

If you can get to Sheffield, I am going up on Friday morning. Maybe to do Pen - y - Ghent on Friday then freshers trips for the weekend.

I used to hitch all over as a youth, so sad to see that its all but died off thanks to the insular little lifestyle and red top mentality of the masses. 
Hopefully soaring fuel costs & recession will result in more "car sharing", or hitch hiking as it was once known.
