Was looking at gopro when I came across the SJ4000. Anyone out there used one of these underground? Are they any good?

They're pretty good, especially at the price point (about ?60) and come with loads of mounts that are Go Pro compatible in most cases. They need a lot of light in low light conditions though, so won't compete with a Hero 4 for example.  There again they're a fraction of the price.  If you get the optional suction mount kit it can be used as a dash cam.  Make sure you get a genuine SJCAM one and not a Chinese copy (ironic as the SJ4000 bears a remarkably close resemblance to a Go Pro).  LCD screen is very useful for framing.  See youtube for loads of reviews and comparisons.

Just got the Veho Muvi K2 which is pretty damn good in low light conditions.  ?129.99 complete with 100m waterproof case and has had better reviews than the Go-Pro.  There are plenty of comparison vids on Youtube, but I had to find out for myself how it performed in low light.

I recommend 50fps 720p for best results in low light.
